The five-slot Geneva mechanism (above) allows smooth rotation between filling the 5 drinks being made in a batch. This Geneva mechanism along with the optical encoders allow for spill-free, discretized transition to each station. The components are water jet cut allowing for a high tolerance. Attached to the Geneva mechanism is a Lazy Susan allowing for minimal friction between the two plates. Finally, custom-cut rubber cup holders (below) ensure that there is no chance of the drinks spilling.
